2015 Municipal Election Voter Information



The Pennsylvania Municipal Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2015

Are you Registered? Make an Informed Vote. 

October 5th is the last day to register to vote in 2015 Municipal Election in Pennsylvania. Registering to vote is a quick and easy process. Complete the Voter Registration Form and return it to your county elections office.


Did you request your absentee Ballot? Make an Informed Vote.  

In order to vote by absentee ballot in Pennsylvania you must be travelling on Election Day or be physically unable to cast your vote at the polls. If either of these situations apply to you, you need to complete the Absentee Ballot ApplicationThe last day to apply for an absentee ballot is October 27th. The last day for County Board of Elections to receive absentee ballots is October 30st (5pm).

November 3th Municipal Election- Polls are open from 7am- 8pm

Coming prepared on Election Day will help you save time and make informed decisions about the candidates. To find out the location of your polling site, click here. Keep in mind, if you have questions about voting, ask the poll workers or Judge of Elections. All voters who appear at a polling place for the first time must show proof of identification.  In addition to proper identification, you may choose to bring the following items with you to the polls.

  • A list of the candidates on the ballots and who you plan to vote for

  • A list of key issues or specific proposals that are on the ballot

Reading Eagle is hosting two Debates open to the public.  Tickets are required for the debates but they are free.  Stop by Reading Eagle offices at 345 penn St. to pick up one.
